Aim

The LightBeam Academy aims to provide a broad, balanced and quality Islamic Education to young people aged 5-16. We aim to inspire our students to become role models in society - nurturing them to follow the Prophetic way.

Objectives

• Provide an Islamic Education based on traditional Sunni teachings
• Focus on key subjects including Tajweed, Seerah, Fiqh, Aqidah and Spirituality
• To teach the Qur’an in an accessible, contemporary and engaging way
• Introduce children to an holistic understanding of Islam, covering key themes including :
  • taking care of the environment
  • food growing and horticulture
  • animal care
  • calligraphy and art
  • prophetic sports
  • charitable giving
  • neighbourhood management
  • Citizenship
