The LightBeam Academy provides a wholesome and holistic education using a broad and balanced curriculum, focusing on achieving excellence through faith-based teachings.
Education
- The LightBeam Curriculum is split into three main modules: Qur’anic Recitation, Islamic Studies and Arabic Language.
- The children are allocated a year group in line with their age and they follow a set curriculum for each of the three modules.
- Our curriculum has been chosen for its’ clear English Language, contemporary design and has been developed by leading Islamic Scholars with the western student in mind.
- Workbooks and activity sheets are included as part of the learning process helping to stimulate students.
- Apart from the Arabic Language module, all of the teaching and accompanying curriculum workbooks and texts are taught and presented in the English Language.
Arabic 4 Kids
This Arabic 4 Kids class has been designed for 4 & 5 year old children. Emphasis is on learning through play, familiarisation of the Arabic alphabet and developing basic conversational skills.
Main Madrassah
A comprehensive curriculum in Qur'an, Islamic Studies and Arabic language for Primary aged children
Weekend Madrassah
The programme is a modular programme which aims to give students - at key stage 3 and 4 level - a basic foundation in farḑ al- ‘ayn knowledge, knowledge that is essential for every Muslim to learn.
Additional Courses
The LightBeam Academy provides additional courses to our students, while still covering faith – based teachings
Hifz Club
The club will help children memorise the 30th part of the Qur'an (Juz Amma). This club is for boys and girls.
