The Academy aims to provide a well-rounded, holistic and quality Islamic Education to young children aged 5-16 in Pendle. Our qualified teachers deliver a broad, engaging and comprehensive curriculum which aims to nurture our student’s social, educational and spiritual development. We believe a quality education involves a strong bond between teacher and student and offer small class sizes tailored to our students’ needs.
Students are introduced to the Arabic alphabet, laying the foundations for them to reach fluency in Qur’anic recitation. They also learn the basic tenets of the Islamic faith, the rules of prayer and fasting, Prophetic Biography and stories emphasizing moral and manners. In addition, the curriculum encourages children to learn through experience, which involves trips and outdoor activities.
A key focus of the Academy is to develop the student’s connection to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. It is through this connection that we hope the children will love to study, learn and practice Islam.
The Academy ensures that our students feel safe, happy and secure and are able to thrive in a caring and supportive environment where the shared values of respect, dedication and resilience underpin all that we do.
We pray that by working together with our students and parents we can help to create a more balanced, peaceful and beautiful world.
